Father’s Day
God sees the attitude of your heart towards your Earthly Father as the same heart attitude towards Him. When you honor your Father and Mother you honor God.

Amen! We are called to honor our mother and father even in their imperfections, because to do so is to honor God and to honor our own selves. So much suffering comes from people who have fractures and wounds about their own parents and as painful and hard as it can be to work through these things, to learn to honor our parents brings us peace, grace, and understanding.

Amen to your comment. Our relationships with our parents are so influential upon our development. It is not something we can just brush off and refuse to deal with. I am glad you were encouraged to follow the LORD’s admonishment though it is not always easy.
